Founded in January 2013 by Lord Brownlow, Havisham Group is a privately owned investment portfolio and trading group. Within its three main business areas, Havisham Assets, Havisham Homes and Havisham Properties the group has interests ranging from property development in the south of England and Scotland, to an international recruitment firm based in London. The group has also continued to expand its portfolio of classic cars and art, ranging from the vintage to the modern.

David Brownlow is a British entrepreneur, philanthropist and member of The House of Lords.
After David graduated from Newcastle Polytechnic, having read Economics, he spent two years as a Policeman with Thames Valley Police based in Slough. He then became a recruitment consultant and eight years later, in 1996, co-founded Huntswood.
Initially a recruitment consultancy, Huntswood is now a specialist resourcing and consultancy firm focussed on Governance, Risk and Compliance.
Still owning Huntswood, in 2013 David co-founded his second business, Havisham. This business is a trading and investment group with interests in Travel, House Building, Fashion, Commercial and Residential property letting, Pubs and Restaurants, Recruitment, a Technology and Education Platform, three Financial Services apps for consumers and Documentary Film Making. The company trades across The United Kingdom, Toronto, Singapore, Sydney and Shanghai (havishamgroup.com).
In an interview with The Sunday Times David said his business philosophy and success is based on:

• Remembering that as well as clients, delivery and profit, business is about people, their careers and families. This means that making work fun for everyone engaged in the business is important

David takes pride in the work of his charitable giving; especially his own ‘David Brownlow Charitable Foundation’. All of which concentrates on helping individuals and communities where there is an element of disadvantage.
As well as being a Trustee of DBCF, David is a Patron of The Royal Osteoporosis Society, a Patron of The Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract, a Life Patron of The Landmark Trust, a Founding Patron of The Royal Albert Hall’s President’s Circle, a Patron of The Royal Drawing School, a Vice-President of Berkshire Community Foundation and a Founding Patron of Thames Hospice.
In January 2018 David was appointed as a Deputy to The Lord Lieutenant of The Royal County of Berkshire. In Her Majesty’s Birthday Honours’ List of 2018 HM The Queen appointed David a Commander of The Royal Victorian Order (CVO). In the Resignation Honours’ List of The Rt Hon Theresa May MP, HM The Queen created David a Peer of the Realm and he sits in The House of Lords as Lord Brownlow of Shurlock Row in The Royal County of Berkshire.
For many years David has given his commercial experience as a business consultant to a number of organisations without charge; including:
• October 2018 appointed as an Ambassador for The Royal Albert Hall’s 150th Anniversary which occurs in 2021
• June 2017 appointed Vice-Chairman of The Conservative Party responsible for Campaigning and Incumbency
• April 2013 to July 2017, as a Director of Community Capital Limited
• September 2016 to November 2017, as a Trustee of The Prince’s Regeneration Trust
• May 2013 to November 2017, initially as a Trustee and then as Chairman of The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community
• April 2013 to June 2017, as a Trustee at Dumfries House
• June 2008 to May 2012, initially as a Trustee and then as Chairman of The Foundation for Integrated Health
In 2005 David was named the national ‘Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year’ in the Ernst & Young / Sunday Times / Coutts Awards. In 2007 David was named ‘Best Chief Executive’ recognising his ‘outstanding service to compliance and regulation.’

Ben RawsonManaging Director
Ben is the Managing Director of Havisham Group and works alongside David Brownlow on all of David's commercial endeavours. This has led Ben into a range of business and philanthropic initiatives.
Ben graduated from Bristol Business School with an Honours degree in International Business Studies with Spanish, having spent one year at Granada University. Ben's principal interests include music, travelling, cars and watching Manchester United.
Adam Cashin-MurrayOperations Manager
Adam Joined Havisham Group in July 2012 after spending six months working in Huntswood CTC Ltd’s Quality Assurance Department. Adam is now responsible for overseeing the group's day-to-day operations whilst also focusing on identifying new business opportunities. Adams’s interests outside of work are football, health & fitness and spending time with his two young daughters.
Milda DrungyteFinancial Accountant
Milda joined Havisham Group in August 2015 after working in Huntswood’s sister company Conduit for the last 5 years. Milda is a member of CIMA and continues her studies to qualify as Chartered Global Management Accountant. She is responsible for Group Financial and Management accounting. Milda’s interests outside work are socialising, cooking, healthy lifestyle and spending time with her children.
Nicola CarrollPA to David Brownlow CVO DL
Nicola joined Havisham Group in May 2016 after 13 years within the legal industry. Nicola is responsible for PA support to David and "making things happen". In her spare time Nicola enjoys live music, home improvements and travel. She enjoys running and has run a couple of Half Marathons.
Henry Rippington-BondInvestment Manager
Henry joined Havisham Group in 2017. Prior to this, he worked at Huntswood, where he specialised in Strategy and Corporate Development.
Henry’s background is primarily in business development, strategy and corporate M&A; he has implemented successful rebrands, created in-depth corporate strategy plans and lead a number of business divestments and mergers.
Henry is an Investment Manager at Havisham, where he is responsible for the end to end management of a number of Havisham's investments; from acquisition to business management.
When Henry isn't working, he is a keen fitness fanatic and enjoys triathlons, running and endurance based sports.
Bardia is a commercially minded CFO with over 10 years of experience within the financial services, technology and private equity. After graduating from University of Warwick, Bardia qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
He joined Havisham Group in 2019 to oversee the finance, tax and legal aspects of the investment portfolio and to act as a finance operations advisor to the portfolio companies.
Outside of work Bardia enjoys travelling, socialising with family and friends and exercising.
